Employment Status: Full-Time, Temporary

Duration: Contract until August 2026 (approximately 8-months)

Job Type: Hybrid – In office with flexibility to manage your work schedule with up to 8 days per month to work from home.

Job Details

We’re looking for a recent graduate to join our team as an Associate Pricing Analyst to cover an 8-month contract, covering a parental leave. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, pricing strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.

Reporting to the Manager of FP&A & Pricing, the Associate Pricing Analyst will work closely with the business to provide data-driven price recommendations, analysis, and strategies in order to support decision making, strategic initiatives, and optimize revenue growth.

The Associate Pricing Analyst will assist in ad hoc analyses to help better understand our customers. The successful candidate will have strong technical abilities and a curiosity to dig into problems to find a solution.

The Pricing Team are key contributors to the strategic planning and budget process providing both leadership & support to the business.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of pricing models that will guide decision-making and optimize revenue contribution.
  • Validate and track performance of pricing decisions.
  • Assist in the implementation of pricing strategies.
  • Proactively analyze product usage and internal data sets to identify drivers for price value impact or opportunities.
  • Collect and analyze market, industry, competitor, economic, and other key data sources as it pertains to pricing strategies and company pricing models.
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization on ad hoc projects, requests for information and analysis as required.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Recent graduate of the Ivey MSc in Business Analytics program or a comparable graduate-level analytics, finance, or data-focused program.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, vlookups, conditional sums, etc.).
  • Ability in performing statistical analysis is an asset.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of pricing strategies an asset.
  • Experience querying large databases using SQL an asset.
  • Auto industry knowledge is an asset.
