The Roadmap

The Regional Sales Manager role is focused on driving new business and growing our customer base by identifying, qualifying, and winning deals. You will effectively communicate our value proposition and intrigue potential customers to learn more about our products, and adopt our offerings. You will generate new business opportunities by building and maintaining strong relationships with prospects to achieve our strategic business objectives. In this role, you will oversee a pod of Sales Development Representatives and Account Managers ensuring overall success!

You are confident, highly motivated, results-driven, and resilient in the face of a challenge. You also possess strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills that allow you to solve problems and overcome objections. You will work closely with the Manager, Sales to meet sales goals, ensuring proper sales tactics are executed and sales quotas are consistently met. Above all else you are a strong leader who knows that working together, and supporting each other is more effective than acting as a lone wolf.

 

Performance Specs

  • Provide coaching and manage a pod of Sales Development Representatives and Account Managers.
  • Develop the principal business relationships with prospective customers in the assigned market segment to generate new business for AutoVerify.
  • Ensure all deals are handed off to Customer Experience and Accounting in an accurate, timely manner.
  • Make telephone calls and presentations to prospective customers.
  • Assist Account Managers with booking demos or deal creation in a leadership capacity as needed.
  • Maintain, without fail, sufficient documentation on all current and prospective clients in our CRM (currently HubSpot).
  • Develop clear, accurate and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with several business groups, including Account Management, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Accounting.
  • Analyze deals’ potential and determine the value of prospective customers’ to the company.
  • Build long term, value-based relationships with customers, developing business and maximizing the revenue they generate.
  • Deliver verbal and written reports on customer needs, issues, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products/services to Senior Leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date on product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends consulting with marketing and technical service areas.

 

Preferred Mods

  • 4+ years of experience in an Inside Sales, Business Development, or similar role.
  • Experience in the Automotive field is an asset.
  • Proven track record in meeting and/or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with prior success dealing directly with business decision makers and managers.
  • Experience leading one or more Sales professionals.
  • Experience consultatively pitching a solution to targeted client needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and able to learn new technologies quickly.
  • A collaborative team player who manages time exceptionally well with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Results-oriented and driven to overcome customer objections.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to remain positive in the face of a challenge.
  • Experience using CRM software, HubSpot preferred.

 

Performance Package

  • Salary: $50,000/year
  • On-Target-Earnings: up to $80,000+/year
  • The salary range listed is for a Canadian employee. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to salary, eligible AutoVerify employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
