Job Description

This role requires strong analytical skills, adaptability, and clear communication to navigate shifting priorities. You will develop new analyses, validate and reconcile data from multiple systems, and present findings in an actionable format. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of learning, evaluating, and deploying new technologies and system-based approaches to enhance financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance the quality and timeliness of internal financial reporting
  • Develop visual dashboards for tracking KPIs and business performance
  • Identify trends in large datasets to drive data-informed decisions
  • Build and refine financial models for scenario analysis and forecasting
  • Ensure consistency across systems by standardizing financial data
  • Research, evaluate, and implement new financial tools, automation, and analytics platforms
  • Champion technology adoption to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities

Education & Experience

  • University degree in accounting and/or business
  • CPA designation strongly preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience in corporate finance and/or public accounting

Skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to analyze large datasets and provide strategic recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with financial systems, automation tools, and data visualization platforms (Power BI and Power Query preferred)
  • Eagerness to explore and implement emerging technologies
