Partnership & Events Specialist

We are seeking a Partnership & Events Specialist to support our partner and industry event initiatives, ensuring the seamless execution of events and communication strategies across our brands, including Paystone, DataCandy, and NiceJob.
Role Summary:
The Partnership & Events Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing partner and industry events across the U.S. and Canada to enhance brand visibility and drive sales. The role also involves executing communication strategies to engage and activate partner representatives. This individual must possess exceptional organizational skills, strong written communication abilities, and a strategic mindset to drive engagement and sales through event management and partner communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner and ISO Event Management (65%)
- Plan, coordinate, and attend partner and industry events across the U.S. and Canada to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and partner teams to align messaging and campaign strategies.
- Develop event marketing materials and promotional campaigns to maximize engagement and lead generation.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, event setup, travel arrangements, and booth transportation.
- Ensure all event-related activities align with Paystone’s business objectives.
Execution of Channel Communications for Paystone & DataCandy (30%)
- Execute predefined communication strategies, including newsletters, product updates, and other partner engagement initiatives.
- Draft compelling email communications and newsletters to ensure partner representatives are informed and motivated to promote Paystone’s solutions.
- Work in collaboration with sales, marketing, and partner teams to ensure cohesive messaging and seamless campaign execution.
- Ensure effective coordination with internal stakeholders to optimize partner communications.
Measurement & Reporting (5%)
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of events and partner communications.
- Focus on evaluating sales impact and partner engagement, leveraging data insights to optimize future initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve partner marketing initiatives and event execution.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in event marketing, partnerships, or related roles, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment.
- Post-secondary education in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to ensure seamless event execution and partner communication.
- Excellent written communication skills for drafting newsletters, partner updates, and marketing materials.
- Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing event performance, tracking sales impact, and optimizing marketing efforts.
- Ability to manage event logistics including budget tracking, vendor communication, travel arrangements, and booth setup.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot last-minute challenges and adjust plans as needed.
- Comfortable engaging with partners and attendees at industry events, including basic sales interactions.
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and external vendors to drive successful event outcomes.
- Willingness to travel frequently across North America for partner and industry events.
- Familiarity with SaaS, fintech, or the payments industry is a strong asset.
- Basic graphic design skills are a bonus but not required.
