We’re looking for a Marketing Project Specialist on a temporary contract (approx. 15-months). Whether you’re a recent graduate or early in your career, this is a great opportunity to build your skills, expand your network, and contribute to exciting marketing initiatives!
Reporting to the Director, Brand Marketing, you’ll play a key role in assisting the Marketing Department with seamless project execution. You’ll help organize the marketing team’s daily workflow and ensure that projects run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a creative, innovative environment.
Position Responsibilities
As a Marketing Project Specialist, every day is different and exciting! You’ll be working on a variety of initiatives, including:
- Coordinating the intake of all marketing projects - reviewing all incoming creative briefs, working with stakeholders to understand goals/details, assessing timelines, and prioritizing workload.
- Developing and managing project timelines, hosting regular project status meetings and working with stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables are on track and within scope.
- Coordinating the day-to-day aspects of marketing projects ensuring seamless execution.
- Monitoring creative team capacity and assigning work accordingly.
- Coordinating French translation needs.
- Supporting process improvement and collaboration tool updates, including change management.
- Assisting with ad hoc requests and other marketing duties as needed.
Education and Experience Required:
- Post-secondary education in marketing, business, and/or project management.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, or administration (including internships and co-op placements).
- New graduates with strong organizational and communication skills are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Experience with project planning and coordination is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); familiarity with content management systems, Confluence, and JIRA.
- Bilingualism (French) and experience in the automotive space is considered an asset.
