The Associate Producer - Art partners with Art Producers, Art Directors, and Art Team Leads to own and oversee various aspects of art production and development of Games as a Service titles. You are proactive and organized, thriving in a fast-paced environment. You take pride in your ability to identify and solve problems in a timely manner. In addition to having a basic understanding of game art pipelines, you have a good eye for detail, product quality, and end user experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with producers and art team leads to ensure smooth and effective project execution
- Coordinate a large team of artists and ensure cross-department communication
- Define scope, manage team workflows, and create and maintain project schedules for short- and long-term project goals
- Understand the quality needs of the project and translate these into requirements for (high volume) art production
- Assist with Art pipeline as needed
- Coordinate, prioritize, and plan all art requests coming into the art team
- Support and guide the centralized art team in the day-to-day planning, tracking, and delivery of their work
- Manage risks and issues to proactively solve them before they impact the overall schedule or the desired results
- Facilitate constant communication within the art team, and between development and art teams
- Act as a key contact point for stakeholders and ensure they have thorough visibility of the status of art requests and are informed of any changes that may impact their products or teams
- Moderate meetings
- Other responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Ideally have shipped 1 AAA game title in a project management/producer role
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or project management in the video game industry
- Experience with scheduling tools a must and understanding of various production process and methodologies
- Experience mitigating/resolving risks
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- An attentive, collaborative, and innovative spirit
