We are looking for a Director, End User End Point Management to lead the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of Canada Life’s modern endpoint management services across all corporate devices. This includes lifecycle management, standardisation, security posture, software deployment, compliance, and seamless end-user experience across Windows, macOS and mobile.
You will provide product ownership for enterprise physical and virtual endpoint platforms, owning the product roadmap, feature prioritization, and value delivery across the organization.
This role will report to the AVP, End User Technology.
What you will do:
- Own the enterprise endpoint management strategy, roadmap, and service catalogue, ensuring it reflects modern best practices, operational readiness, and organisational needs.
- Lead the delivery and enhancement of core endpoint services: device provisioning, OS lifecycle management, patching, software deployment, inventory and compliance management, and device analytics.
- Oversee the technical governance, configuration, and optimisation of platforms such as Microsoft Intune, MECM, JAMF and Windows Autopatch.
- Ensure alignment with security controls, DLP policies, identity and access management, and audit requirements, partnering closely with Cyber Security and Architecture teams.
- Drive consistent, scalable processes for incident response, request fulfilment, reporting, service health, and continuous improvement.
- Lead a high-performing team of engineers and specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and operational excellence.
- Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to support effective onboarding experiences and technology readiness, leveraging internal hiring and onboarding frameworks,
- Support enterprise initiatives such as device migrations, UEM transformation programmes, acquisition integrations, and deployment of new end-user technologies.
- Build strong relationships with technology partners and vendors, ensuring effective contract management, product lifecycle alignment, and value realisation.
- Champion the end-user experience, ensuring technology is intuitive, reliable, and meets the productivity needs of employees.
- Develop and manage budgets and prepare forecasts, and variance reporting, monthly.
- Develop and implement operational governance systems which ensure compliance to legal, regulatory and policy requirements.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- A university degree in technology, engineering, computer science or related discipline, or comparable experience.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in endpoint management, modern device management, infrastructure operations, or related domains.
- Expertise with Microsoft Intune, MECM, JAMF, configuration baselines, compliance, patch management, software packaging, device telemetry, and automation.
- Practical experience leading UEM modernisation initiatives, ideally including Windows Autopilot, Zero Touch provisioning, and cross-platform device management.
- Strong people leadership capabilities with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, and business teams to drive aligned outcomes.
- Strong analytical, operational, and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-relevant language.
- Proven experience delivering technology services to diverse business areas with varying needs and regulatory requirements.

The base salary for this position is between $128,200 - $178,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
