  • Plan, build, and execute test campaigns (including scheduling, resourcing, and coordination with engineering and operations) to validate product requirements and design changes.
  • Execute projects from start to finish, owning scope, timelines, deliverables, risk management, and technical outcomes; work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Design, adapt, or direct the building of test setups and equipment for new situations, based on analysis of test specifications and engineering department requests and instructions.
  • Conduct and lead design reviews, translating validation outcomes into actionable design improvements and requirements updates.
  • Perform failure-focused FEA and simulation analyses to support verification decisions, investigate failures, and assess design robustness.
  • Define, create, and maintain FMEA documentation (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), ensuring risks, controls, mitigations, and verification methods are captured and maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Perform root cause analysis and investigations of material failures, test anomalies, and field issues; drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verification of effectiveness.
  • Perform verification and validation activities to ensure products meet applicable regulatory and quality standards.
  • Act as a technical resource and escalation point in a cross-functional product development environment.
  • As a member of a collaborative team, create, own, and deliver project plans, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Drive troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during the product lifecycle, ensuring issues are closed with data-backed conclusions.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance, review of analysis/test documentation, and support for professional development.
  • Participate in testing and field verification as required.

Note: Up to 10% local or international travel may be required.

Essential requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical or Mechatronics (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • Demonstrated experience in verification and validation activities, including:
    • Developing and executing test protocols, test plans, and test campaigns
    • Project execution end-to-end (scope, schedule, deliverables, stakeholder alignment)
    • Working with cross-functional teams and driving decisions to closure

It would be a plus if you also possess experience in:

  • Proficient in using Microsoft tools and Microsoft Copilot, familiar with using approved company AI tools and concepts, and comfortable working with Atlassian products such as Jira Software and Confluence (considered a strong asset).
  • Designing and developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
