Temporary Utility Data Services Representative

About the job

London Hydro has a vacancy for a Temporary Utility Data Services Representative for a 6–12 months term. In this role, you’ll dig into meter data, solve discrepancies, manage service orders from start to finish, and flag any metering, billing, safety, or theft concerns to the right teams. If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy problem-solving with strong communication skills, this could be a great fit.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze meter data exceptions, investigate and correct discrepancies and choose appropriate course of action (including, but not limited to recheck, estimate, accept or adjust).
  • Investigate low reads, missed or stale reads, service orders that could not be completed, access issues, continuous estimates and determine appropriate course of action.
  • Create, schedule, dispatch/release, monitor, update, process, review, close and audit service orders and notifications for check reads, move outs, and meter irregularities.
  • Identify and report any issues related to the metering/billing systems.
  • Notify Electric and Water Meter Departments of meter irregularities, health & safety hazards and suspected theft.
