Reporting to a Manager or designate, the Financial Analyst ensures the accurate and timely provision of social housing financial information and analysis. Responsible for providing a variety of tasks including financial and statistical analysis, benchmarking, performance monitoring and forecasting. Assists with the preparation of the Division budget estimates, Provincial budget requests, monitoring and control of expenditures and subsidy claims. Provides various financial and statistical reports and technical accounting support for internal and external customers with quality customer service.
Minimum three year college diploma in accounting, OR a degree with completion of modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.1, 5.2, 6, 11, and 12 of the CPA PREP program or equivalent.
Two years related experience in a general accounting field and in developing spreadsheet and/or database applications for financial analysis and reporting.
$53,832 - $76,833 (Level 11) This posting is for 1 full-time temporary up to 1 year position. Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work Arrangement: Hybrid. Subject to change in accordance with business requirements. These hours of work are subject to change in accordance with the Collective Agreement and may include evening hours and Saturdays. NOTE: Applicants may be required to complete a job related test.
