Key Job Elements:
- Lead, monitor, coordinate and report on program activities within the scope of the contract to ensure deliverables achieve cost, schedule and performance with a focus on supporting the Associate Program Manager (APM)
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to facilitate effective contract execution
- Liaise between various multi-disciplined teams in support of program objectives
- Lead program schedule milestones to ensure on-time hardware and CDRL deliveries
- Lead and support bid and proposals through the organization as required
- Lead Integrated Project Team (IPT) meetings with internal teams, coordinating resolution and follow up on technical or programmatic issues
- Develop and deliver reporting/presentations to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Track and payment progress, including withhold recovery plans as required
- Support managing risk elements of the program
- Support reparation of contractual correspondence; including, meetings/presentation material
- Track monthly performance reports and take appropriate action, as required
- Exercise a mindset of continuous process improvements and efficiencies
- Ensure all Program activities meet compliance requirements (ITAR/EAR/FCPA/GP/SOX, etc.)
- Assume coverage for Associate Program Manager, as required
- Short term special assignments, as required
Required Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, including project management experience
- Ability to respond to customer requirements and manage expectations while ensuring satisfaction
- Customer and detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to plan, analyze and solve problems
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to be agile, set priorities and multi-task under pressure
- Self-motivated and effective in a multi-disciplinary team, including to facilitate discussions
- Experience developing and delivering presentations
- Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills
- Experience in MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of GDLS-C Program processes and measurements
- Ability to travel and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
- Familiarity with and/or experience in military and GDLS-C standards and processes
- Negotiating skills and experience
- Familiarity with various functional areas of the business
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP designation or working towards
- Product knowledge and defense industry or military experience
- Previous experience working with government contracts
- Related customer experience
- Experience creating or maintaining metrics or other performance reports
- EVMS and Bid-X experience
