About the Role:
We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager who’s eager to innovate, collaborate, and grow onsite out of our London, Ontario office. As a Project Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing Trojan’s mission by leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful water treatment projects. Whether you’re managing technical and commercial aspects, solving complex challenges, or driving continuous improvement, you’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Lead Projects from Start to Finish:
- Manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects for new applications and demonstration systems, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
- Communicate issues, risks, and corrective actions with clarity and urgency.
Collaborate and Problem-Solve:
- Act as the go-to problem-solver for technical challenges, engaging subject matter experts and evaluating systems to implement corrective actions.
Customer-Centric Delivery:
- Provide professional customer service by addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Close contracts with customers, leaving a positive and lasting impression.
Drive Excellence:
- Review contracts and technical specifications, negotiating with customers to meet performance, cost, and quality objectives.
- Use the Veralto Enterprise System (VES) to implement continuous improvement, develop best practices, and train others for long-term success.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Education: A BS in Engineering or an advanced technical degree.
- Experience: Managing complex projects or demonstrating new technologies.
- Strong ability to interpret and influence technical specifications and drawings for water treatment applications.
- A proven ability to work with municipal water customers to understand and meet their needs.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% throughout North America.
Preferred:
- Experience working alongside engineers, researchers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to create compelling proposals and deliver results.
- Familiarity with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements in water treatment.
- Expertise in integrating cross-functional resources (including third parties) to ensure successful project delivery, start-up, and commissioning.
- A knack for developing tools and documentation to drive team efficiency and sustainability
