About Us:
Acumen Business Consulting is a results-driven agency based in London, Ontario, providing business consulting, digital transformation, and creative solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises. As our project base grows, we are seeking experienced Web Designers to collaborate with us on a contract basis for current and future web development projects.

Role Overview:
As a Web Designer, you will support the design and user experience aspects of websites built on platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, or Wix. You’ll be responsible for creating responsive, visually engaging, and user-centric web designs based on each client’s brand and project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design responsive, user-friendly websites for a variety of industries
Work within platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, or Wix
Customize templates or create custom layouts as required
Collaborate with project leads, developers, and clients when needed
Ensure consistency with branding and user experience best practices
Optimize design for performance and SEO where applicable

Requirements:

3+ years of web design experience
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles
Experience designing websites on no-code or low-code platforms
Strong portfolio showcasing recent web design work
Excellent time management and communication skills
Ability to invoice and legally work in Canada
Residing within Canada

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of HTML/CSS or front-end basics
Experience working with agencies or multiple clients
