I'm Flemming, our Chief People Officer, and I'm looking for another ambitious, fun, warm-hearted, and experienced colleague to join our global People & Talent Team at Trackunit for a 13-month contract from May 2023 to June 2024. As our company continue grows, there may potentially be an opportunity to join Trackunit for a longer duration as well!

Our new colleague will be based out of our London hub. We offer you a flexible setup with the possibility to work from home, but we expect you to be present at the London hub a few days every week.

Every day is different, but your primary responsibilities are:

  • Sparring partner on all People & Organizational matters for the organization on a global scale. You will work as a business partners for specific functions, as we believe that the closer we are, the more value we can create.
  • Coach and co-create employee engagement workshops and discussions with other business partners and leaders in the organization to drive our people-first mindset.
  • Partnering with all levels of leadership to help scale teams including organizational structure, employee development, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborating with all levels of leadership to find and attract the right talent globally including advertising, screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates through to onboarding.
  • Proactively identify, facilitate and support organizational development initiatives.
  • Ad hoc, global projects such as digitalizing onboarding, leadership development, ideating new ways of engaging the organization, experimentation, co-creation of events, and executing on ideas you might have.

Who are you?

  • You have your CHRL or CHRP designation.
  • You have been a trusted sparring partner on People and Organizational matters to businesses for more than 5 years.
  • Proven full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably with customer-facing roles (i.e. sales, customer success, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with a diverse group of people.
  • You have strong knowledge of Canadian employment law. Knowledge of US employment law is also an asset.
  • The drive to be persuasive and engage passive candidates, as part of this job is also to reach out proactively from time to time to find top talent. 
  • You are known to always advise colleagues with care, honesty and integrity.
  • You know how to build processes for scale, as we are a growing organization.
  • You are fun, approachable, and always up for a good laugh.

Overview of the recruitment process

  • Initial phone call - a short 15-20 minutes call where you where you will meet with Emily, the Business Partner you will be covering maternity leave.
  • Virtual Interview - a 60 minute interview with Emily and our other Business Partner in Canada, Jaramie, to dive deeper into your experience.
  • Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment (we use Hogan) prior to the interview. In the interview, you will first of all get feedback, but the aim is just as well to have a dialogue about what you thrive in, what we offer etc.
  • Assignment specific interview. Based on the learnings from the process you will be given a case to prepare. You will present the case to myself and People & Talent colleagues in person.
