The Technical Support Specialist provides front line technical support to all corporate users for in-office and remote software packages. They also coordinate security and access with all other departments, to provide the best security posture and utilize a high degree of problem solving and critical thinking skills to resolve, research, and deploy new systems, and maintain current ones.
Responsibilities
- Provide internal technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and security.
- Administer and manage Voices Google Workspace, MDM, and office network systems.
- Assist HR with onboarding and offboarding tasks, related to hardware and software.
- Manage the process of procuring hardware and software resources for new and existing employees.
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in computer science or information technology
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role
- Prior experience in tech support, helpdesk support, or a similar role
- Proficiency in Windows, MacOS, and Linux
- Required to be in the office for a minimum of 4 days/week
- Requires occasional after hours work to resolve urgent requests or to perform network maintenance
Educational Requirements
- College diploma in Computer Systems Technology or equivalent.
