The AVP Data Analytics, Sales Effectiveness and Performance within Advisory Network will be responsible for building out the analytics and data science capability across the Advisory Network. 

 

What you will do 

  • Lead a team of analysts in partnership with internal distribution teams (wholesaling, product, research & insights, operations and finance) to provide data that drives business decisions  
    • Develop top talent, and coach a team of high performing team
    • Define, implement, monitor, + report on metrics and KPIs using scorecards/visualization tools to articulate
    • Maintain and refine wholesale analytics strategy + ensure alignment with strategic business objectives
  • Partner with the broader Finance and Canada Data to enhance timely BI, visualization and data science models for sales leaders + wholesalers to better diagnose sales results
    • Drive understanding of + optimize correlation between activities and sales outcomes
    • Help business understand the underlying drivers of their results and how to action against them
  • Collaborate with compensation to align advisor + field reward design to transparent KPIs + metrics
    • Work with partners on telling their story using data and crisp articulation of data in power point
    • Act as a data subject matter expert translating business needs into data projects and data projects into business implications
    • Influence senior leadership within Advisory Network and Wholesale to understand business drivers and enable them to make decisions based on data

 

What you will bring 

  • 10+ years of experience as a SME in data analytics ideally in a sales environment
  • Leadership experience:
    • Track record of building strong teams from the ground up, fostering a culture of innovation ideally in the Financial services sector
  • Polished communication and presentation skills to audiences including senior leadership
  • Background using analysis / analytic and visualization tools such as Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau and or PowerBI
  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science or any other quantitative field

The base salary for this position is between  $114,300- $200,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
