What We’re Looking For

 

The Alliance Manager will be responsible for promoting Northern within its partner network while actively managing inbound and outbound activities. This role is crucial in ensuring Northern remains compliant with certification, lead, and revenue targets to establish and maintain strategic partner levels. The Alliance Manager will focus on generating new business opportunities and nurturing existing partnerships to drive Northern's growth through collaborative lead development and partner engagement.

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Define and execute a Channel and Partnership strategy; maintaining momentum with existing partners and identifying new opportunities.
  • Manage the structured partner program; including tracking certifications, lead development, and compliance to ensure partnership levels are maintained.
  • Lead partner recruitment; identifying partners that align with Northern’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop senior relationships with strategic partners to drive growth through the partner ecosystem.
  • Monitor and manage partner revenue targets; ensuring goals are met through active collaboration.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Client Success, and Marketing teams to maximize partner engagement and effectiveness.
  • Support outbound lead generation;  collaborating with teams to design and execute partner-focused campaigns.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all outbound leads and partner inquiries; tracking progress and providing updates to senior leadership.
  • Monitor campaign KPIs; ensuring successful execution and timely reporting to leadership.
  • Refine strategies based on campaign performance; ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business goals.
  • Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams to ensure a seamless experience.

 

Knowledge, Education & Experience Required

 

  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales or partnership management, preferably in web, technology, or an agency environment.
  • Minimum 2-year college diploma, certification, or university degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with partners and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to identify business opportunities and expand partnerships.
  • Strong organizational skills, with experience managing multiple priorities.
  • Proper documentation to travel in Canada and the United States.

  • Familiarity with digital advertising and marketing technologies.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in developing joint marketing initiatives.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Office hours are generally Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm ET
  • Working core hours are 10:00 am - 3:00 pm ET
  • Some limited overtime and weekend work may be required.
  • Monthly travel is required.
