We are establishing our new head office in London and looking to grow our team! Candidates located in this region will be given preference.

This job may require travel to Toronto, or in other locations across Ontario for in office days, training, or events. In office days are typically held monthly. Travel reimbursement will be provided in accordance with WSIB policies.

Salary Grade: N05 From: $69,028.00
Job Summary:
Manage all aspects of the recruitment life-cycle for entry level positions and mass recruitments. Provide support to Talent Acquisition Consultants for other recruitment initiatives.
Provide advice on recruitment policy, best practices and on legal/collective agreement obligations as it relates to recruitment.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- For entry level positions and mass recruitments, manage all aspects of the full-cycle recruitment process for multiple roles. Activities include but not limited to:
- Establishing of recruitment timelines with hiring party;
- Preparing job postings for internal and/or external posts;
- Screening candidates against job qualifications;
- Conducting telephone interviews;
- Providing input on appropriate selection tools;
- Determining order of offers and communicating results (e.g. offering position or declining a candidate);
- Providing feedback on recruitment process and/or results as required;
- Supporting other recruitment initiatives as required.
- Manage the data/metrics associated with the recruitment process to ensure all relevant data on applicants is available for analysis. Monitor the work of the supporting Talent Acquisition Coordinator to ensure recruitment tools are in place and timelines are on track.
- Act as a coach/mentor on best practice recruitment techniques, current selection processes, talent acquisition tools & assessments and other WSIB Talent Acquisition processes to newer TAC staff and summer/co-op students including coordinating daily workflow.
Job Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in field of Human Resources Management
- 2 years of experience in recruitment in a unionized environment
- Working towards a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation
