We are establishing our new head office in London and looking to grow our team! Candidates located in this region will be given preference.

This job may require travel to Toronto, or in other locations across Ontario for in office days, training, or events.  In office days are typically held monthly.  Travel reimbursement will be provided in accordance with WSIB policies. 

 

This is a temporary opportunity up to 24 months

Job Summary:

 

The Project Director, Change Management will lead the change management workstream for the WSIB’s Claims Journey to the Cloud program, a large-scale business and technology transformation. This role is crucial in driving successful adoption of changes across the organization by developing and implementing a comprehensive change management strategy. They will work closely with the Program Director, executive sponsors, governance committees and cross-functional leads to ensure alignment, readiness and engagement throughout the claims transformation journey.

 

Major Responsibilities: 

 

The Project Director, Change Management is accountable for the strategy, execution, and results of change management within the Claims Journey to the Cloud program. This role involves managing all change management workstream deliverables and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition to the cloud environment. 

Major responsibilities will include:

 

  • Aligning with the Enterprise Change Management (ECM) framework and Program goals, the Project Director will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a comprehensive change management strategy for the Claims Journey to the Cloud program.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with internal business partners supporting the project to ensure alignment with enterprise frameworks and timely delivery of change management artifacts and activities.
  • Facilitating and ensuring alignment across leadership, stakeholders, and teams, on change objectives, vision, and priorities.  
  • Leading and integrating cross-functional workstreams comprised of business partners such as human resources, learning & development, communications, knowledge management business readiness, etc. as they develop their project plans in alignment with the project needs and program goals. Facilitate the collaboration between these supporting functions and integrate their respective plans into a change management plan. Partnering with the Claims Journey to the Cloud PMO to integrate the change management plan into the overall project plan.
  • Conducting impact assessments and analysis to identify potential challenges, designing strategies for resistance management and engagement.
  • Building and supporting change networks within the organization, enabling effective collaboration and execution.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with internal business partners to ensure timely delivery of change management artifacts and activities.
  • Providing strategic advice and recommendations to executive sponsors and senior leadership teams ensuring that change management strategies align with business goals.
  • Developing, maintaining and monitoring project budgets to ensure that there are no costs or resource over runs, as well as, tracking project milestones and deliverables ensuring project requirements are achieved in a timely fashion and within budgetary guidelines.

Job Requirements:

 

Education requirements:

  • University Degree with specialty in required area of expertise (e.g, Business, Commerce, Accounting, etc.)
  • Change Management Certification required (e.g., CMPD, Prosci, Acuity, etc.)  
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation considered an asset  

 

Experience:

  • 10+ years experience in change management, including leading change initiatives end to end for large-scale transformation programs, ideally within public sector or insurance/workers’ compensation industry environments 
  • Experience leading change management for Guidewire ClaimCenter related implementations or upgrades is preferred
