Job Overview:

We seek an experienced and dynamic Senior Technical Lead to manage and lead a cross-functional team of software developers, QA, and business analysts. As a key figure in the technology department, you will guide the technical direction of projects, mentor team members, and ensure high-quality delivery. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate closely with various stakeholders across departments.

 

What you will do:

 

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a cross-functional team consisting of software developers, QA, and business analysts.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide architectural direction, technical oversight, and best practices to ensure the scalability, security, and quality of software products.
  • Collaboration: Partner with product managers, stakeholders, and business teams to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions on time.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality products by implementing robust testing processes, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for technical inquiries, project updates, and problem resolution across various business units.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team by adopting new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles early in development and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Code Review: Oversee code reviews and contribute to team coding standards and best practices.
  • Agile Practices: Implement and promote Agile methodologies, ensuring smooth sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

What you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development with a minimum of 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience working with business analysts to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills.

The base salary for this position is between  $74000 - $137000 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
