Position Overview
As the Marketing Specialist you will play a key part in executing our marketing and digital activation strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and support business growth. You will work across various channels, including email, social media, content marketing, ecommerce and lifecycle marketing campaigns, to deliver compelling campaigns and meaningful insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to help deliver high-quality campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and contribute to ongoing improvements in marketing efforts.
This position requires flexibility as we respond to new business and customer requirements, while being able to quickly adapt to new strategies and priorities as they evolve.
This position is open to internal and external candidates.
Product Line
This role will be working on ASICS Apps products.
Work Location
The successful candidate for this role can be either a satellite employee (working 100% remotely from a designated location within Canada or US). Or, a hybrid employee (flexibility to work in the office or from home at a location within 75 km/45 miles from the London, ON/Boston, MA office).
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and optimize lifecycle marketing campaigns, including email marketing and push notifications, to nurture customer engagement and retention.
- Execute digital activations (ie. Challenges, ecommerce campaigns, etc.) for internal and external partners through in-app, web platform, email and other marketing channels
- Develop and manage content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and marketing goals.
- Analyze campaign performance and prepare detailed reports to measure success, identify trends, and inform future strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and distribute content that resonates with target audiences.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a content calendar for digital channels, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of messaging.
- Research and propose new marketing trends, tools, and techniques to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Coordinate with design and development teams to ensure campaigns are visually appealing and technically sound.
- Meaningfully participate in diversity and inclusion initiatives across the ASICS Apps teams
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in lifecycle marketing or digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of email marketing tools, push notification platforms, and social media management tools.
- Proficiency in analyzing marketing data to derive actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong creative mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar platforms is a plus.
Bonus Education & Experience
- Experience with Iterable campaign management
- Experience with B2C subscription marketing
- Comfortable with copywriting when needed
- Experience with Paid Media

The successful candidate for this role will become an employee of Race Roster North America Corporation (doing business as ASICS Apps Canada), a subsidiary of ASICS Corporation, a Japanese multinational corporation. Race Roster was founded in London, Ontario in 2011.
