Software Analyst -OneChart Technical Applications  Programming - Information Technology Services

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a three-year diploma in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum four (4) years’ work experience in a technical/support role.
  • Strong programming and optimization skills with experience in SQL, SSIS, and C# and other ETL tools.  
  • Strong understanding and experience with large complex relational databases: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
  • Familiarity with one or more of Python, .Net MVC, Cerner CCL is preferred.
  • Experience supporting database concepts such as indexing, statistics, backup/restores, SQL job agent
  • Excellent understanding of system administrator tasks to support applications and databases, e.g. SQL Server, Windows Server.
  • Excellent computer skills with productivity tools (MS Office) and source code management (SVN, GIT).
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance multiple and competing priorities.
  • Strong QA and testing methodology with attention to detail.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Teamwork is essential to achieve the highest level of success, while you must be able to work independently, you must also be able to work as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting technical details to broad audiences.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and ability to manage change.
  • Overtime and possible on-call coverage may be required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety.
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC’s Mission, Vision and Values.
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis.

Immunization Requirements:

  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a health review which includes providing vaccination records or proof of immunity against Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella(Chicken Pox). In addition candidates will need to provide documentation of Tuberculosis Skin testing and a completed COVID vaccine series (two vaccines).
