Senior Data & Reporting Analyst
 

The Senior Data and Reporting Analyst plays a critical role in the design, implementation and maintenance of sales reporting and analysis for our various distribution channels as well as to other internal business partners.  The role will be responsible for bringing actionable analysis and insights to team members and key stakeholder groups.  The role will be required to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.  An outward focus and ability to translate complex problems into simple concepts will be essential to this role’s success.

 

What you will do:

  • Translating needs of various sales stakeholders into actionable analysis.
  • Derive insights from various sources of data with varying levels of integrity
  • Become intimately familiar with data-sets stored across several systems
  • Build, implement and maintain data models, custom reports and dashboards
  • Develop numerous reports for our distribution channel business partners on various metrics to help them better understand our business
  • Ownership of setting sales targets for our distribution channel business partners
  • Leverages understanding of the business environment and business partner needs to proactively identify opportunities through data analysis
  • Present and communicate the insights and recommendations generated in a visual and simplified language
  • Fulfilling numerous industry surveys

What you will bring: 

  • Undergraduate Degree in Math, Business, Economics or similar
  • 2+ years in an Analyst role
  • Strong background using Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Knowledge of Power Automate (and/or other Microsoft Power Platform tools) would be an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to read + write SQL is an asset
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management
  • Creative thinker with the ability to understand the root cause of an issue by using data to dive deeper into the situation
  • Strong analytical skills for problem solving purposes
  • Ability to work with little, to no documentation or instructions
  • Pays close attention to detail
  • Ability to think outside the box and identify solutions to overcome obstacles
  • Well-developed planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple complicated tasks while meeting tight deadlines
  • Focused on high standards and high quality work
  • Ability to work in team setting as well as independently
  • Knowledge of our organization, products, distribution channels is an asset

The base salary for this position is between  $61,600- $107,500 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
