About the role:

The Indirect Sourcing Manager is an exciting new role that will be managing $50M of our spend, working collaboratively with all of the organization.  The commodity focus includes, but is not limited to: Travel and Entertainment, Marketing, Information Systems, Regulatory, Professional Services, Plant Operations, Business Services, Fleet, Temp/Contractors, Real Estate and Capital Expenditures.

In this role, you will:

• In partnership with functional leaders, identify areas where improvement is required then develop and lead sourcing strategy for assigned indirect commodities in North America.

• Using consultative and change management skills, work with finance and budget owners to meet budget/savings goals by capitalizing on supplier opportunities and/or alternative ways of filling needs.

• Negotiate to drive savings and uncover departmental needs/wants to capitalize on opportunities of cost avoidance and cost out.

• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and engage them to actively participate in on-going sourcing efforts

• Manage suppliers, costs, quality, delivery, performance, and payment terms

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field

• 5 years of Purchasing, Commercial, or Supply Chain experience with strong negotiation skills and working knowledge of indirect categories

• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally to visit supplier locations. 

• CPM highly desired
