ASICS Running Apps - LiveOps Specialist

 

Position Overview

As a LiveOps Specialist you will be responsible for assisting the Race Roster teams with diagnosing and investigating issues and bugs in real-time. In this role you will work with the Race Roster Customer Success, Quality Assurance (QA), Development, and Product teams to solve system issues. You will be relied upon to develop and execute cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual or automated). Day to day, you will be responsible for working with the Race Roster QA, Development, and Product teams to ensure effective solutions and timely delivery of releases. This position requires being available outside of core business hours for urgent troubleshooting, this may include evenings and weekends. Flexibility is required as we respond to new business and customer requirements, while being able to quickly adapt to new strategies and priorities as they evolve.

This position is open to external and internal candidates.

Product Line

This role will be working on/with the Race Roster product.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the Race Roster system from a Quality Assurance (QA) perspective
  • Understand the role and impact of each position on the Race Roster development team to allow for quick collaboration and resolution of issues that arise day-to-day
  • Understand the Race Roster system from the Customer Success team’s perspective with hands-on experience with the team for a minimum of 6 weeks 
  • Receive, outline and prioritize issue reports in a clear format for Developers, Quality Assurance (QA) Specialists, and Product Managers – this includes building out reproduction cases and examples
  • Effectively deploy, test, and report back on pull requests
  • Act as a point of contact for the QA portion of releases
  • Complete browser testing
  • Write basic Structure Query Language (SQL) queries
  • Communicate known issues and releases to the larger Race Roster team 
  • Meaningfully participate in diversity and inclusion initiatives across the ASICS Running Apps teams


Education & Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experiences with bug investigation and QA testing


Bonus Education & Experience

  • Professional QA and LiveOps experience
  • Post Secondary Education
