Position Type: Full-time, 8 month temporary Ivey Business School Foundation contract (with an anticipated start date of October 2025)
Hiring Range: $41,315 - $48,630
Please note that compensation will be pro-rated to reflect the 8 month duration of the contract

Position Overview:
The Product Assistant flourishes within a collaborative environment, leveraging their exceptional organizational and time management abilities to bolster the Product team's publishing efforts. Their responsibilities span from conducting preliminary submission reviews to managing templating, publishing translations, and delivering outstanding author service. Their keen attention to detail and adeptness at handling competing priorities are invaluable assets that greatly enhance the Product team's operations and contribute to the overall success of the Ivey Publishing team.
Responsibilities:
Product Support
- Conducts a preliminary pre-review of product submissions from authors and/or writers (AW) including author credentials, file management, consent forms, and iThenticate.
- Assists with templating while checking for compliance with current Ivey Publishing Standard Guidelines during review, with editor, and pre-publication.
- Assists with coordination of all case competition submissions, including maintaining CRM.
- Assists with duties required for new products – Cases 2.0 and digital learning experiences.
Publishing Translations
- Management of current English published products to identify, template, register, and publish in alternate languages.
- Works with requestor/translator(s) to arrange permissions, copies, templating, and publishing of translated products.
- Day-to-day management of CEIBS – Chinese language related products.
Internal and External Relations
- Maintains the publish cases inbox.
- Complete any product revisions as requested in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provides training and guidance on the use of all Ivey Publishing materials to Ivey Publishing staff, AW, reviewers, and editors.
Special Projects (as required)
- Plan, coordinate, and execute logistical arrangements for select Product team events and projects.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- You have successfully completed an undergraduate university degree.
- You have a minimum of 1- 2 years’ experience, related business education and/or professional corporate setting, i.e. Higher Education, Financial, is an asset.
Skills & Abilities
- High degree of attention to quality, detail, and accuracy, along with excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adjust to a changing priorities frequently with a high volume of product.
- Possess a reputation for resourcefulness with the ability to exercise independent judgement and flexibility.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of professional verbal and written communication, tact and diplomacy.
- Excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling, and language riles.
- Knowledge of copyright law is desirable.
- Experience with product/contact management databases, i.e. using Salesforce CRM.
- Advanced computer skills, i.e. Microsoft office, Adobe Acrobat, and database applications.
