We're searching for a Senior Software Engineer who excels in guiding technical decisions at all stages of new technology research and development, ensuring the engineering and integration efforts are both effective and confident. What you’ll be doing:
- Technical Leadership: Act as a key technical leader by making strategic decisions, influencing architecture, and guiding best practices.
- Forward-Thinking Planning: Anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions aligning with long-term goals and industry standards.
- Mentorship and Influence: Guide engineers on complex issues, fostering a culture of improvement and professional growth.
- Architectural Evaluation: Lead the selection of frameworks, tools, and technologies for research, prototypes, and near-production services, ensuring system integrity and scalability.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to integrate strategic technical solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Enforce high standards in code quality, testing, and performance, leading by example with clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience as a full stack software engineer
- Object oriented experience with Python and Java proficiency
- You enjoy deep diving into back-end services, research and integration, with exposure of front-end development such as ReactJS, Vue, or Angular.
- Staying current with advancements and emerging trends in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience with client/server architecture, integration and building sophisticated web services
- Experience with optimizing big data and supporting cloud-based architectures and services. (IaC, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Comprehensive understanding of the full SDLC including research, design, building, testing, delivery and post-production support, and how our solutions deliver value to stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong team player who will help mentor and guide other developers, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
