The Role

Info-Tech Research Group is looking for a multi-skilled Producer (Social Content) to join the Social team to plan, execute, produce, edit, and deliver engaging content that helps to build an audience / community. The ideal candidate has a working knowledge and understanding of ITRG’s IT-focused products and services. You have a passion for research, a strong understanding of social media trends, across platforms, and the content that resonates with our target audience.

You’re able to comb through ITRG’s library of research and find thought leadership insights that will be used by the Social Media team to create content across platforms. You can do this quickly and well, appreciating the need for daily delivery of high-quality content. In this role, you will assist the Social Media team and the Senior Vice President, Brand Reach & Influence, the Product Director, and Manager of Production in planning the scope and treatment of video projects, memes, and content.

You understand the salient and actionable insights in our research and you’re eager to bring these concepts to life, often under tight timelines. You’ll collaborate cross-team and incorporate feedback from Research and Marketing. You’ll also work alongside a talented tight-knit creative team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop content strategy, scripting & planning – collaborate with the social marketing team to support content based on our research to meet company goals and social media objectives.
  • Provide the research insights used in video content for social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
  • Manage video production pipeline, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of content.
  • Provide quality assurance on social media assets and their packaging.
  • Work with an interdisciplinary team that includes designers, developers, marketers, social media managers, researchers, and executives to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all channels & platforms.
  • You’re not afraid to be disruptive in this space.
  • You understand the timely approach to how the team produces daily content.
  • Ensure a consistent tone and “voice” that aligns with the company’s brand.

 

Education and Experience

  • College or university training with 5 years of professional experience
  • You have proven experience in B2B content creation.
  • You can translate our thought leadership into engaging bites that more closely resemble a hook or salient insight.
  • You have a solid understanding of social media platforms and their respective video formats, best practices, and audience behaviors.
  • You can work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize the workload effectively.
  • Proven ability to work cross-team and incorporate feedback from stakeholders while managing workloads effectively.
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver error-free content.
  • Experience working in an agile, market-driven company is an asset.

  • Content and video: The ability to produce high quality?materials across a mix of platforms including text, video, websites, emails, advertisements and more.?
  • Communication: Ability to interact at all levels of the business, synthesize ideas and relay project plans effectively to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Insight Generation: Ability to understand content and content strategies and to present them in impactful ways that provide insights to audiences
  • Organization/Time Management: Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage workloads effectively, often with competing deadlines
  • Storyboarding and scripting
  • Keen eye and ear for minute visual and audio details
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision at times
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with JIRA project management software an asset
