We are looking for a Systems Analyst who is curious and will explore new technologies, design small proofs of concept, gather data, and scale what works. We are focused on improving Active Directory, database reliability, and network performance, then augmenting with automation and artificial intelligence.

The Role:
Salary: $77,080.00 - $96,350.00 (commensurate with experience)
Location: Hybrid option (in office work at one of our administration offices (Strathroy or Sarnia)
Job Function:
The Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining key management information systems, including Entra ID and Active Directory, database connections, and PowerShell scripting. Working under the direction of the Senior Systems Analyst and reporting to the Director of Information Systems, this role ensures the security, and reliability of our technology environment. The Systems Analyst contributes to safe network operations, reliable data flow, and colleague support through troubleshooting, requirements gathering, and the delivery of technology solutions.
This position is primarily focused on these core areas:

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for software integrations, end user applications, hardware, and core IT systems, and assist with software procurement, installation, and maintenance.
- Operate and improve our network across on-premises and cloud environments. This includes infrastructure, services, and IT procedures.
- Design, configure, implement, monitor, and update components of the corporate Intranet.
- Implement and maintain security policies and procedures. This includes patch management, endpoint protection, system hardening, and cybersecurity monitoring.
- Maintain accurate and current documentation for software assets, licenses, configurations, and procedures.
- Analyze business and system workflows to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency. Gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Explore and evaluate opportunities for automation and AI integration across the business.
- Maintain a pipeline of small proofs of concept and experiments, collaborate with the Senior Systems Analyst, and scale successful ideas.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent technical experience considered.
- 2–4 years of IT support or systems administration experience in a medium or large organization.

- Familiarity with:
- Current Windows operating systems for workstations and servers.
- Peripheral device setup and troubleshooting.
- LAN/WAN principles: TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Active Directory.
- Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration basics (user management, licensing, resource synchronization).
- Email and communication solutions (Exchange Online, Office 365, basic DNS records).
- Knowledge of scripting or programming concepts (PowerShell, SQL basics).
- Working knowledge of server and client technologies (IIS, SSL certificates, version tracking tools).
- Experience with web and database technologies (XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript) considered an asset but not required.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or M365 Fundamentals considered an asset.
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+ considered an asset.
- ITIL Foundations certification an asset.
