Position Description
LBMX is the leading private marketplace provider for Buying Groups and Purchasing Co-operatives. These marketplaces are designed to electronically connect the members of buying groups with their supplier partners.
We are looking for an EDI Analyst to collaborate with clients in creating tailored solutions to move data files through LBMX’s EDI network, overseeing and coordinating project stakeholders throughout. A high level of computer competency is required but no experience in computer programming is necessary.
This is an ideal role for someone with strong communication skills, experience managing EDI transactions, and a proven track record of driving projects to completion. Successful candidates must thrive in an independent work environment and be dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Additionally, candidates with prior experience managing AS2/VAN/SFTP communication protocols and exposure to ERP systems will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities
- Lead customer meetings, gather EDI requirements, drive projects forward, and own the results.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers to meet deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.
- Configure customer accounts and create customized EDI guides based on specifications.
- Validate EDI transactions meet customer requirements.
- Monitor EDI network and identify root causes of transaction errors to apply appropriate corrections.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a professional, solution-oriented approach.
- Represent the voice of the customer in internal meetings and problem-solving discussions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skill Requirements
- Proficient in reviewing and understanding X12 specification documents.
- Experience transacting standard business documents through EDI (invoices, purchase orders, confirmations, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail. Effective problem-solving and problem-prevention skills.
- Strong verbal skills and ability to develop rapport with customers and team members over video and phone (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
- Enthusiastically work closely with others in a positive team environment.
- Self-motivated with a high level of professionalism to independently drive simultaneous projects from start to finish.
- Competent and comfortable in the use of computers, including standard business software such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Eager and willing to take on new tasks and challenges.
- Technical fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
Nice to have:
- Experience working with a remote team would be considered an asset
- Understanding of additional data file formats: CSV, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, etc.
- Exposure to various Accounting/ERP/POS systems: Infor SXe, Epicor Eclipse, SAP, etc.
- Familiarity with data transport protocols: SFTP, AS2, VAN, etc.
- Prior use of JIRA, Salesforce, and Zendesk
- Professional certifications: PMP, CBDA, etc.
Experience Required
- Two or more years of EDI-related experience handling business transactions
- Other experience, including but not limited to supply chain management, project management, business analysis
Compensation
Salary Range: $60,000 to $70,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
