Job Description
What you'll be doing:
- Working in a dynamic team environment using Agile practices
- Designing, building, and maintaining scalable ML model serving infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for machine learning (MLOps).
- Writing high-performing, robust code to guarantee fast and accurate delivery of new system features and production-ready ML model deployments on high-visibility projects
- Participating in design decisions, including technology research and prototyping for model monitoring, versioning, and feature stores.
- Utilizing test driven development and continuous integration methods for both application code and the ML model lifecycle.
- Getting exposed to a broad range of technologies to continually improve your skills
- Collaborating closely with other engineers, architects, Data Scientists, ML Researchers, support teams, and business stakeholders
- Apply best practices for architecture, security, and performance of complex systems in Java and Python, with a focus on productionizing ML models.
- Sharing your knowledge with junior and other senior team members on best practices for MLOps.
- Object Oriented experience with languages such as Java, Kotlin, OR Python (required for ML engineering and toolsets).
- Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, Typescript, HTML5 and CSS3.
- Microservices architectural pattern
- Experience with modern front-end JavaScript Libraries such as Reactjs, Vue OR Angular.
- Knowledge with client/server architecture and building web services using REST or GraphQL for high-throughput model inference.
- Relational and NoSQL databases system such as MySQL, Mongo, DynamoDB OR Elasticsearch.
- Experienced with developing in AWS cloud environment (including specialized services like AWS Sagemaker, EKS, or Lambda for ML workloads).
- Experienced with MLOps tools and platforms (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Sagemaker Pipelines).
- Experienced with full SDLC development including design, building, testing, deployment, upgrade and support with a specialization in the ML model lifecycle and orchestration.
- Strong understanding of model monitoring (data drift, performance degradation) and model governance (versioning, lineage tracking).
- Ability to provide leadership and mentor engineers through complicated technical challenges.
- Ability to work and collaborate effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
