Position Overview

Within assigned area of responsibility, provide Preventative Maintenance or First Line Maintenance for ATM’s and Cash Recycling units; provide scheduled cleanings and other basic maintenance on conventional products and special project work, as needed.  Perform basic installations and minor repairs on all Diebold products and services.  This position may be required to use basic hand tools and limited parts.

You are responsible for

• Effectively communicate with branch staff to understand the usage history of a particular unit to determine what is needed
• Visually asses the unit and determine what steps are needed to have the unit performing efficiently
• Ability to navigate through various software applications including retrieving logs.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to break down devices and components for preventive maintenance including replacing/repairing parts that show excessive wear and not up to par
• Run diagnostic tests to verify the device is in perfect working condition
• Ability to travel to client sites with overnight accommodations when needed

Qualifications

• Experience with computer software and hardware
• Written skills needed to document processes and follow documented procedures
• Must have G level Canadian driver license

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-Secondary education or diploma
• Electronics Technician or Electro Mechanical experience preferred
