This role has an expectation of 2 days in the London, ON office per week, subject to change based on future business needs.

What you'll be doing:

• Working in a dynamic team environment using Agile practices.
• Writing high-performing, robust code to guarantee fast and accurate delivery of new system features on high-visibility projects.
• Participating in design decisions, including technology research and prototyping.
• Utilizing and developing test driven development and continuous integration methods.
• Getting exposed to a broad range of technologies to continually improve your skills.
• Collaborating closely with other engineers, architects, support teams, and business stakeholders.
• Apply best practices for architecture, security, and performance of complex systems.
• Leading, guiding and sharing your knowledge with junior and other senior team members.
• Work with key stakeholders to help elicit and develop requirements and effectively communicate project and program needs.

• 5+ years Object Oriented Programming
• Hands-on coding enterprise-level systems using common frameworks and libraries
• GitLab CI/CD and source control
• Advanced experience with NoSQL databases
• Experience with developing in a cloud environment
• Strong commitment to unit and integration testing
• Ability to provide leadership and mentor fellow engineers through complex technical challenges
• Ability to work and collaborate effectively in a team environment as well as independently
• Ability to effectively communicate to different stakeholders
