Position Description:

Reporting to the Jr. Controller, the Corporate Accounting Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day execution of the company’s accounting and administrative functions.

This is an on-site position at our London, Ontario, office. Must be able to legally work in Canada.  This position is a 10 month contract.

Positions Available:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Manage employee expense report submissions and company credit card reconciliations
  • Treasury and cash management activities
  • Prepare and submit government remittances
  • Prepare month-end reconciliations for balance sheet accounts including but not limited to: bank accounts, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, credit cards, accounts payable, and accrued liabilities
  • Prepare and maintain working papers and journal entries for period-end close
  • Maintain customer billing information in Salesforce ERP
  • Maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Investigate and correct errors and discrepancies in account balances
  • Providing information and support to the company’s year end accounting audit engagements
  • Reporting and special projects where required such as ERP or accounting system conversion, banking conversions, etc.
  • Other tasks as assigned

Experience Required:

  • Three (3) to five (5) years accounting experience in a similar environment
  • Strong practical knowledge of accounting practices and standards
  • Proficient with financial software: QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
