About the Role

Info-Tech is looking to hire a Director, Salesforce UI Lead who will be responsible for driving the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) strategy across multiple Salesforce product pods. This individual will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Stakeholders to design intuitive, scalable, and high-performing Salesforce experiences. The ideal candidate is a hands-on design expert who can define UI standards, create reusable design components, and improve UX within Salesforce applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the UI/UX strategy for Salesforce applications across multiple product pods.
• Define and implement UI/UX best practices, ensuring consistency and usability across Salesforce products.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups for Lightning Experience, Experience Cloud, and custom components.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Business Stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into user-friendly interfaces.
• Work closely with Salesforce Developers to ensure UI designs are implemented correctly using Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Visualforce, and other technologies.
• Establish a UI component library and reusable design patterns to streamline development and maintain consistency.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to refine UI designs.
• Optimize Salesforce UI for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across different devices.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce UI/UX trends and innovations, ensuring the organization leverages the latest capabilities.
• Act as a UI/UX mentor, guiding developers and designers on best practices for Lightning Experience and declarative UI tools.

Experience / Qualifications:

• 8+ years of UI/UX design experience, with at least 3+ years in a Salesforce environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating Salesforce Lightning Experience design work (Lightning Web Components, Experience Cloud, Visualforce, etc.).
• Expertise in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or other design tools.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce UI technologies (Lightning Design System, LWC, Aura, Visualforce).
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, and front-end development principles.
• Familiarity with user research, usability testing, and accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA compliance).
• Salesforce certifications (Salesforce UX Designer, Salesforce Certified Administrator) preferred.
• Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
