What We’re Looking For

 

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Manager to join our Client Success team!

 

The Senior Account Manager will play a key role in promoting our company and its services, maintaining client relationships, planning solutions, acquiring new clients, mentoring team members, and supporting project discussions with cross-functional teams including PMO, Delivery, and Sales at Northern.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary client contact, delivering high-value solutions, strategic marketing, and technical guidance to achieve short and long-term goals.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, driving business development and generating innovative agency-client strategies.
  • Onboard new clients and projects, confirming budget approvals, and ensuring a smooth transition into the agency's services.
  • Develop proposals and present them to prospective clients during pitch meetings, ensuring alignment with client needs and agency capabilities.
  • Create and deliver SOWS to clients, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with project requirements.
  • Upsell Northern’s services and solutions while identifying areas for new opportunities.
  • Schedule and undertake regular account reviews (QBRs), ensuring client satisfaction and identifying areas for improvement or growth.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, supporting clients on large-scale projects and explaining options to advocate for the best solution.
  • Support RFP opportunities by recommending a solution to the client's needs, participating in short-list presentations and pitching solutions.
  • Support pre-sales initiatives by supporting probative conversations and presentations with prospects, educating clients on technology-specific terminology and project workflow.
  • Achieve team-based sales targets, collaborating with the sales team to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Promote a positive and safe working environment within the team, providing advice, feedback, and support to all Northern team members.

Knowledge, Education & Experience Required

 

  • Prior experience working at a web/marketing agency 
  • Successful completion of a post-secondary program in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, advertising, public relations, communications, business).
  • 6+ years of integrated agency experience in professional-client relationships, account, and/or project management
  • Proficient in the use of GSuite
  • Exceptional relationship management skills; ability to listen, understand, empathize, communicate concisely and connect well with clients
  • Ability to acquire a valid passport and the interest to travel in North America
  • Experience with various technical project management tactics and tools
