Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator is a key player on the Canada Life marketing team. With guidance from marketing specialists and leaders, you'll suport and coordinate projects and campaigns across product lines.

 

You'll collaborate with various roles inside and outside of marketing to ensure projects are moving through processes efficiently and on track to reach their timelines.

You'll help execute on tactics, which includes editing (using plain language principles and brand standards), recording project analytics, preparing material for publication and collaborating with graphic designers to make messages come to life.

What you'll do

  • Move work efficiently through processess, working with Marketing and other Canada Life partners.
  • Help the team meet standards for document security, centralized storage and audit control.
  • Using project management tools, make sure timelines stay current and monitor and update projects results.
  • Edit materials according to brand, plain language and other requirements.
  • Publish marketing materials to broad audiencies on various platforms.
  • Enhance department reputation by accomplishing new requests and finding creative ways to add value.

 

What you'll bring

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or Project Managment, or equivalent work experience.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with project management tools and brand style guides.
  • Ability to work on digital platforms offered to advisors (Smartsheets, Workfront, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office Suite).
  • Graphic design abilities: understand the design process and assist in updating templated marketing material, format PPTs, size photos for tools, and select images for tools.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and able to hit moving deadlines.
  • Known for your interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

The base salary for this position is between  $43,800.00 - $72,900.00 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
