Northern is looking to add a Salesforce Solutions Architect to our growing team!

As a Salesforce Solutions Architect at Northern, you will play a pivotal role in driving our success by leading the design and implementation of innovative Salesforce solutions. Your expertise will be critical in supporting our sales efforts, from conducting impactful demos to defining detailed implementation plans. With a strong focus on client experience, you will contribute to ongoing projects and offer creative solutions to overcome challenges. Your insights and recommendations will be invaluable in ensuring the successful delivery of projects sold with your support. Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Drive Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales to develop tailored solutions and proposals, demonstrating the value of Salesforce implementations.
  • Support Pre-Sales Activities: Conduct product demos, technical discovery sessions, and assist in drafting SOWs for potential clients.
  • Support Sales Strategy: Provide technical expertise to shape sales strategy, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling Salesforce products.
  • Provide Technical Leadership: Lead the design and development of Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Gather and analyze requirements, translating them into scalable and efficient Salesforce configurations.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to ensure the integrity and functionality of Salesforce solutions.
  • Document Solutions: Develop and maintain technical documentation to support sales efforts and ensure clear communication of solution capabilities to clients.
  • Deliver Client Presentations: Lead and participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Mentor Junior Team Members: Share knowledge and best practices to promote professional development within the team.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes and maximize the value of Salesforce within the organization.


 

Knowledge, Education & Experience Required

 

  • At least 5 years’ experience with planning, selling and/or delivering Salesforce projects
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and interactive when online
  • Bachelor’s / Postgraduate degree or professional qualification in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, or a similar field of study 
  • Salesforce Architecture certifications - Active in the Salesforce community
  • Sales/Service Cloud Experience required
  • B2B/B2C Commerce Experience required
  • Salesforce Architect Certification(s) recommended

 

Bonus Skills!

  • Experience with supporting pre-sales 
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
