As the Director of MarTech Strategy and Demand Generation at StarTech.com, you'll be an integral part of our Marketing team, reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, you'll be tasked with developing and implementing strategic marketing communication plans to enhance our brand visibility and promote our products and services effectively.

Your leadership will be crucial in overseeing a team of professionals and ensuring alignment with our business objectives. Together, we'll work cross-functionally to drive brand awareness, encourage customer advocacy, and achieve our marketing goals.

This position will play a key role in executing our go-to-market strategy, focusing on customer acquisition and delivering targeted ABM campaigns to our most valuable clients. Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of StarTech.com’s business model, corporate objectives, and customer data to drive segmentation efforts.
  • Lead the Marketing team in cultivating preference and loyalty for the StarTech.com brand across global industry sectors and segments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing strategies with business objectives and target audience insights.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive, proactive marketing and communications strategies aimed at acquiring key contacts, increasing brand awareness, and fostering loyalty.
  • Take ownership of customer communication channels to optimize growth, including paid, SEO, email, affiliate marketing, and influencer channels.
  • Manage the marketing communications budget efficiently to maximize ROI.
  • Utilize CRM tools to segment customer databases, personalize communications, and deliver targeted campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain automated marketing workflows and customer journey maps to enhance the customer experience.
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, including planning, deployment, and performance tracking.
  • Implement A/B testing and experimentation to optimize campaign performance.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to optimize strategies and tactics.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Cultivate relationships with media partners, influencers, and industry associations to amplify brand visibility.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on marketing initiatives and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and privacy policies in CRM data management and communications.

Essential Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field, with progressive responsibilities.
  • Experience creating and executing integrated marketing strategies for complex technology solutions in B2B markets.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong commercial awareness, understanding industry dynamics, market share, and competitive differentiators.
  • Proficiency in managing customer journeys from awareness to post-sales service, particularly through distribution partners and resellers.
  • Direct experience in managing demand generation programs across various channels, including email, paid media, websites, and SEO.
  • Solid understanding of computer hardware or similar industries.
  • Proven expertise in content creation and management.
  • Excellent judgment and prioritization skills, anticipating priorities and emerging issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for negotiation and influence at all levels.
  • Exceptional leadership and management abilities.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative and creative approach.
  • Track record of growing revenue through performance marketing in B2B technology or services.
  • Experience in day-to-day management of A/B testing strategies, focusing on long-term performance improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Demonstrated focus on customer-centric strategies and driving growth across multiple channels.
  • Innate curiosity, willingness to learn, and a drive for growth performance.
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM, PIM, DAM tools.
  • Awareness of AI best practices and application in customer insights mapping.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in global marketing is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in the technology, manufacturing, or distribution industries is advantageous.
  • Technical knowledge related to IT performance connectivity accessories is preferred.
