About the job
We have a vacancy for a Temporary Operations Service Representative for a 6–12 month term. Reporting to the Operations Support Supervisor, or designate, this role provides administrative and customer-service support to customers, contractors, developers, and the Engineering and Operations departments in support of the day-to-day construction, operations, and maintenance of the distribution system.
What You Will Do
- Provide operational customer service via telephone and email. Receive inbound and make outbound calls from/to agencies, contractors, customers, developers and London Hydro employees. Receive and dispatch trouble calls to London Hydro operations crews. Assist developers with the use of Builders’ Portal to process servicing requests.
- Provide administrative and customer-service support to the Systems Operating Centre.
- Provide excellent written and verbal communications when interacting with internal and external parties.
- Perform data processing and administrative duties in support of efficient business operations (including, but not limited to, billable charge numbers, City of London addressing, ESA Authorization validation, locates, move in / move outs, PAW permits, and water installations, etc.).
- Process, prepare correspondence and ensure paper and electronic records management of claims, easements, liaisons, joint use documents, etc.
- Perform records management duties (data entry, scanning, filing, reporting) and prepare reports using a variety of manual and computerized databases (including but not limited to ESA Report, OEB Report, Secondary Cable Faults Report, etc.) for review by the Supervisor.
- Monitor, order and restock office supplies for Engineering & Operations departments.
What You Will Bring
- Effective interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills, and strong written and oral communications.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Google Suite software programs.
