The Role

Info-Tech Research group is looking for a multi-skilled producer to join the video production team to oversee, plan, execute, and deliver daily video assets for internal and external purposes. The ideal candidate will develop a working knowledge and understanding of ITRG’s IT-focused products and services.

In this role, you will work with and assist the Production Manager in planning the scope and treatment of video projects that highlight the thought leadership of our content. You understand the salient and actionable insights in our research and you’re eager to bring these concepts to life, often under tight timelines. You’ll collaborate cross-team and incorporate feedback from Research and Marketing. This role involves supporting a team of video editors. You’ll also work alongside a talented tight-knit creative team.

Responsibilities

  • Work in tandem with and assist the Manager of Production as well as design, to execute video across the company.
  • Assist and guide video producers in the execution of video products that work to achieve strategic goals set out by department stakeholders and business partners.
  • Assist marketing and research departments to schedule and supervise webinar presentations and any videos that represent new research content and the company brand.
  • Ensure all deliverables are meeting established timelines, budgets, and quality/brand standards.
  • Translate complex product suite into content that is digestible for end-users with a view to continually improve and innovate.
  • Work with an interdisciplinary team that includes designers, developers, marketers, social media managers, researchers, and executives.
  • Ensure that the quality of all video content and copy on the website & social channels meets professional standards and is error-free.

 

Education & Experience

  • College or university training with a minimum of 7 years in a content creation role involving video & publishing
  • Proven experience working across teams and synthesizing feedback and input from creative stakeholders
  • Experience managing expectations from internal production partners and clients
  • Experience writing video scripts that make content clear, concise, and compelling for audiences
  • Demonstrated eye for detail
  • Working knowledge of production software for Mac and PC platforms and proficiency with the Adobe creative suite
  • Familiar our tone and standards
  • Significant experience with motion graphics considered an asset
  • Experience within a technology firm considered an asset
  • Proven ability to work cross-team and incorporate feedback from key partners/stakeholders while managing workloads effectively

  • Content and video: The ability to produce high quality?materials across a mix of platforms including text, video, websites, emails, advertisements and more.?
  • Communication: Ability to interact at all levels of the business, synthesize ideas and relay project plans effectively to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Insight Generation: Ability to understand content and content strategies and to present them in impactful ways that provide insights to audiences
  • Organization/Time Management: Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage workloads effectively, often with competing deadlines
