What We’re Looking For

 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Enterprise Account Director to join our team who is responsible for achieving sales targets at our organization. As part of our Client Success team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key enterprise clients, driving account growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of our solutions. You will work closely with our internal teams to develop and execute strategies that meet our clients' business objectives, challenges, and goals, while exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with enterprise clients, acting as their trusted advisor and main point of contact.
  • Build strong executive relationships across multiple fields (i.e. CIO, CTO, CMO, CDO).
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and new business within existing clients, driving revenue and expanding our wallet share.
  • Articulate the Northern story, unique value proposition and how our solutions solve client’s business challenges. 
  • Create and implement multi-year account plans, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including identifying, qualifying, and closing complex sales with enterprise clients.
  • Lead negotiations and contract renewals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the client and the agency.
  • Monitor and report on account performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Meet sales quota.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and services, aligning with client goals and timelines.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, leveraging this knowledge to provide value to clients and drive continuous improvement.
  • Be an innovative and resilient problem solver able to bring forward and take the lead on solving problems that allow Northern to better serve our clients.

 

Knowledge, Education & Experience Required

 

  • Prior experience working at a digital consulting firm, web/marketing agency, Salesforce, Adobe, or Acquia.
  • 10+ years of integrated agency experience in accounts, client service or sales.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing enterprise accounts.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, technology solutions, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in the use of GSuite.
  • Experience working with CRM tools, such as Salesforce, and other project management software.
  • Ideal candidates will live in Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal.
