We have an opportunity for a regular full-time Learning Developer to join our growing Microsoft 365 team. This is a fantastic role if you are looking to grow your IT career in a large complex organization.
Working with end-users and Information Technology colleagues, your goal is to facilitate learning and development solutions as well as act as a specialized subject matter expert for Microsoft 365. You’ll facilitate timely, high quality, creative learning solutions through multiple delivery approaches that positively impact business and clinical processes. You’ll also participate in strategic conversations with staff at multiple levels, with less prescriptive content, using facilitation and adult learning expertise to structure and facilitate these interactions. You will consult, coach, and partner with leaders who deliver program content to their teams to enable readiness, capability, and comfort in the classroom environment.

Rate of Pay: $33.64 per hour - $42.05 per hour
Status: Regular Full-Time
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

How you'll contribute:
You’ll support the adoption of Microsoft 365 across LHSC and promote collaboration between Team LHSC and its various stakeholders. As an integral part of the Microsoft 365 Collaboration Team, your role will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining blended learning assets applying adult learning principles, while acting as a specialized subject matter expert for Microsoft 365.
- Hosting training sessions, workshops, and meetings related to the use of Microsoft 365 technology to help improve business and clinical processes.
- Planning and administering education-based projects and learning delivery.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of learning and adjusting content and delivery where necessary to enhance learner engagement.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Undergraduate Degree in Adult Education or a related field acceptable to Hospital
- Minimum three (3) years of recent relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 solutions, including Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and the Power Platform
- Demonstrated knowledge of fundamentals of adult learning theories, delivery channels and learning interventions of instructional design theory and application of research and theory to the practice of instructional design and development of Learning
- Advanced technical competence in the areas of graphic and multimedia authoring software for the purposes of course and curriculum design
- Experience with designing and developing learning assets that reflect an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners
- Competency in graphic and multimedia e-learning rapid authoring tools in the creation of e-learning (i.e. Articulate, Storyline) to create interactive SCORM compliant web-based training products
- Familiar with project management and quality assurance review cycles
- Proficient facilitation, presentation, and teaching skills
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC’s vision, purpose and values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Provide proof of Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health’s current definition of being fully vaccinated
