The Corporate Solutions team works in partnership with the corporate service areas of the organization, to provide them with technology support, service and expertise. These areas include Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, Procurement & Logistics, Food Services, Risk Management and Communications.
Accountable to the Manager, Corporate Solutions, the Software Analyst will play a key technical role in project and operational support, both for the evaluation and development of new systems as well as upgrades and maintenance of existing applications. The successful applicant will apply their knowledge and experience in analyzing client requirements and transforming them into tangible results by recommending technical solutions. They will also be involved in the detailed design and development of system interfaces.
The Software Analyst will be part of a team responsible for application design, development, implementation and support for critical business applications. This role may focus mainly on web development and web support for our corporate internet/intranet sites and web-based applications, development support of our financial business intelligence reporting systems, and\or development support of our internal support tracking system. Their technical skills will be used for implementing new applications, software upgrades, and providing operational support to maintain service on current applications.

Rate of pay: $39.92 per hour - $49.89 per hour
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a three-year diploma in computer programming; four year computer science degree preferred
- Minimum four (4) years’ technical work experience in creating\developing, and maintaining web sites, intranet sites, and web application development
- Excellent technical and programming skills with experience in one or more of PHP, Drupal, SharePoint
- Nice to have technical programming experience in ASP.NET, Oracle Business Intelligence ETL (ODI) programming, PERL, or JAVA
- Demonstrated understanding of relational databases: Oracle (Database and\or Essbase), MySQL, and Microsoft SQL
- Good understanding of system administrator tasks to support applications, e.g. Linux, Windows Server
- Excellent computer skills with productivity tools (MS Office) and source code management (GIT)
- Knowledge of system integration and writing application interfaces, including data mapping
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance multiple and competing priorities
- Strong QA and testing methodology with attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and meeting strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting technical details to broad audiences
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and ability to manage change
- Overtime and possible on-call coverage may be required
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC

- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
Immunization Requirements:
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
