Trackunit is in search of a highly motivated and customer-focused Solutions Manager to be the key technical contact for assigned North American customer programs. You will play a key role in influencing the digital transformation of our customers’ businesses with Trackunit’s leading IoT products and services. Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical consultation for evolving program requirements.
  • Support initial customer on-boarding & implementation.
  • Direct customer conversations to align with “in the box” configurable solutions for evolving products & services.
  • Support Customer Success Manager by providing more complex technical product training to customer.
  • Help support escalated cases for customers.
  • Occasional travel to customer sites for Engineering and/or deployment support, or to international Trackunit hubs.
  • Promote a positive customer experience by building strong customer relationships with technical resource counterparts.
  • Ensure robust and complete requirements gathering, with a solid comprehension of the business value.
  • Validate and evolve the success criteria.
  • Demonstrate technical project leadership throughout the development and testing phases.
  • Deliver outstanding cross-functional support and collaboration throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrate leadership in support of strategic objectives initiatives.
  • Bring energy, passion and a drive to win, every day.

 

Who are you ideally?

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Education in Software Development, SaaS, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, Telecommunications or related experience.
  • Experience in Project Management or Program Management/Customer Success Management; PMP is an asset
  • Strong leadership with the ability to be persuasive, innovative and act with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire, lead and support cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents.
  • A familiarity with PLCs and industrial communications protocols, or an aptitude to learn.
  • Some hands-on experience with construction-related equipment and controllers.
  • Travel of up to 10% may be required; primarily within North America.

Our hiring process

  • Virtual meet and greet with our People Business Partner and the Hiring Manager
  • Assignment-specific interview. We want you to get an insight into some of the work tasks related to the role, so you will be given a case to prepare after the initial screening interview. You will present the case to colleagues from across Trackunit.
  • Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment using the Hogan assessment process prior to the interview. There are no correct answers and we are not trying to categorize you - the aim is a dialogue about the results and Trackunit’s culture.
  • If needed, throughout the process we will obtain references from former employers, if you have not provided these yourself.
