Job Description:

Fanshawe College is undergoing an exciting multi-phase digital transformation through Fanshawe One, a strategic initiative aimed at modernizing our core administrative systems for employees and students. With Phase 1 of 3 successfully completed, we are now progressing with the next stages of implementation.

 

We are seeking dedicated professionals to join the Sustainment Team and support the ongoing success of our Fanshawe One Workday implementation. As we transition from legacy systems, this team plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations, continuous improvement, and user support.

 

Summary:

Under the general direction of the Workday - Human Resources Sustainment Lead, the Workday Human Resources (HR) Sustainment Analyst supports the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Workday human resource modules to ensure they meet organizational HR needs and enhance user experience. This role involves assisting with HR projects, integrating Workday into existing workflows, and working with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance. The Workday HR Sustainment Analyst helps manage employee data, ensures its accuracy and compliance, generates reports and dashboards to aid HR decision-making, and conducts system testing and quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy, functionality, and compliance with HR processes. Additionally, the Workday HR Sustainment Analyst helps improve operational processes, maintains standard operating procedures, and provides support to end-users.

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary 3 year diploma/degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of human resources experience with reports, analysis and sound understanding of human resource operations in a human resource information system (HRIS) context

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Workday, including configuration, reporting, and supporting Human Resource modules

  • Experience providing support with Benefits, Human Capital Management, and Payroll modules preferred

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

  • Familiarity with union and non-unionized working environments would be an asset

  • Knowledge of HR modules and reporting tools

  • Understanding of HR procedures, policies, and collective agreements with experience in HR operations within an HRIS context

  • Experience in supporting HR-related projects and enhancing operational processes for efficiency

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail

  • Ability to adapt to changes and contribute to process improvement
